Hi Reader, Life with four kids is a little chaotic right now, especially at 7 weeks postpartum! And if there’s one thing I’m learning (again), it’s that feeding your family doesn’t have to be complicated to be nourishing. I just published a new episode of Managing Mealtime Madness, and I’m sharing some of the things that are helping me get through this season — because sometimes, we need a reminder that fed is better than not fed, and dinner does not need to be different every night. So, what's an emergency dinner, you ask? Great question! I define it as an easy, no-frills, no-think dinner that I know the kids will eat. This may change based on your season of life. For us, right now, when I'm usually baby-wearing (My favorite Solly wrap: Use code SARAHS10 for 10% off) and making something quick before soccer practice, it's breakfast for dinner. I swear, if I say the word breakfast at dinner time, no matter what it is, they'll eat it! 😜 So easy and they love it! It's usually scrambled eggs, toaster waffle, bacon and berries. But if I'm feeling extra fancy, I'll do: Simple Veggie Sheet Pan Eggs In the podcast episode, I also talk about our favorite nutrition things to boost immunity.
This podcast episode is sponsored by Lovebug Probiotics, a mom-founded brand offering probiotic options for babies, kids, and adults. I love that there are different formats to choose from, including powders, chewables, gummies, and pearls, so you can find an option that works for your family. Lovebug probiotics are designed to support digestive and immune health as part of your everyday wellness routine.
And remember, supporting your family's health doesn't have to mean adding a dozen new things to your routine. Start with the basics, keep things simple, and give yourself some grace along the way.

Hi Reader, I found my new favorite fall sweater - I've gotten so many compliments since wearing it! And did you see this easy halloween snack? I love that it has protein and is fun for the kiddos to decorate. Now that fall is here, I'm surprised I've been lacking the energy to do my normal meal prep. I love fall meals and soups! I don't know why lunch feels so hard right now - maybe it's the postpartum season I'm in, like: carrying a baby and not always having free hands If I do have a free...
Hi Reader, Thanks to your feedback on the last recipe poll. The answers were SO CLOSE! So, because of this near tie, I will be testing both the pesto pasta recipe and the hidden veggie mac and cheese. Stay tuned for both in the next few weeks! This week's new recipe family-friendly and only requires 1 pot. If you have cooked chicken already (or even rotisserie chicken), you can skip the grunt of the cooking here and your recipe is ready in 15 minutes! I happen to think orzo pasta is so...
Hi Reader, Somehow Thanksgiving is just around the corner. We are actually staying put and looking to have a low-key Thanksgiving, which I am very much looking forward to! Some good food, a full belly, great company, and hopefully we'll get out for a family walk. I haven't done a turkey day 5k since before kids, so maybe I'll find one near us! Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions? I'd love to hear them! Tasty Thanksgiving Sides Don't forget to leave a recipe rating if you love it! ALMOND...
